Tags to Die For....

Today's Class Reveal is a fun one! "My Tags to Die For" class is one that I am only teaching in a few locations and I cannot wait to share it with all the wonderful attendees. Tags to Die For features numerous tags in each class that are all miniature works of art!

I wanted to showcase creative ways in which to incorporate die cuts into our paper crafting but not have to spend a lot of time on a layout to go around these dies so Tags have become our foundation.

I am not going to show you ALL the tags in this class today but I will show you some to get you excited! I will likely show some more in the next week or so :D Sound good?

We will be working with all sorts of mediums... this beautiful tag uses canvas as it's base. Add in some chipboard, flowers, lace and beautiful patterned papers and you have a very romantic looking tag.

The next tag is uber cool! It definitely has a bit of an industrial feel to it and contains numerous funky techniques that I cannot wait to share. We will combine embossed metal with fabulous Coredinations card stock and Dusty Attic Chipboard along with a few other embellishments and you will have a wonderful tag to treasure.

The last tag I will show you a sneak peek of is this fun one featuring the new Picture Wheel Die by Tim Holtz. Remember these from the good ol' days? It brings back such fond memories and I couldn't wait to play with this die!
I added in the mini filmstrip and mini ticket dies along with some of his fabulous stamps and this has become a totally awesome tag.

Now, you might ask "What can I do with tags?". Well, as mentioned before, they create the prefect starting point for many other projects. You can easily design a layout around it, work it onto a card or home decor item or even let it stand alone as I more often than not do myself.

You are guaranteed to learn a plethora of new tricks and techniques with each tag that you can apply to future paper crafting projects too!

So far, my Tags To Die For Class will be Scrapfest in Kitchener, Ontario along with SCrapbook Central in Medicine Hat, AB. The ladies here will get these three tags plus at least one more (possibly two but you will likely have to do the 5th for homework due to time constraints). We really could spend an entire day making tags and it still wouldn't be enough time so alas I have to narrow it down to a few!

I will also be teaching this class at the wonderful Scrap N Patch in Toowoomba, QLD, Australia. For the ladies here... I have something EXTRA special in store for you so you will get an extra 2 tags from what are shown here along with an extra special treat exclusive to Scrap N Patch... stay tuned for those details! As mentioned earlier... those additional 2 tags will be posted soon (I have to do something to keep bringing you back!!!).

Speaking of bringing you back... tomorrow will bring another set of sneak peeks for my Artsy Adventure Tour! There are so many classes to get through this time! PHEW! I hope you are enjoying the sneak peeks thus far and as always, don't hesitate to contact me with any questions!

I will also mention that all of my classes are available as kits! They will all come complete with detailed power point instructions with plenty of photos to get you through. With this class, ALL die cuts will be done for you of course!!! YUP... I am going to be putting my kids to work as there are literally HUNDREDS of die cuts to be done in order to kit... YIKES! It always sounds like a good idea until it comes time to do he actually die cutting... hehehehhe! Oh well, you are all worth it! I just pray my trusty Vagabond holds up or I could be in trouble!!! lol

Until tomorrow my friends... HAPPY SCRAPPING!
Trisha
